Think with Your Hands: LEGO-Based Practices for Leaders

The LEGO-based leadership program is an experiential development day where thinking quite literally becomes tangible. Through playful yet deep exercises, participants experience how different leadership situations—such as meetings, collaboration challenges, conflicts, or processes—can be approached from new perspectives. Building helps slow down thinking, gain clarity, and express insights that are sometimes difficult to put into words. The program inspires creative thinking, perspective shifting, and more inclusive leadership practices, while offering immediately applicable ideas and tools. Throughout the day, gaining insight and experience plays a central role.

Why is it useful?

During the program, participants do not only hear about the LEGO-based method in theory, but experience how it works through direct, hands-on practice. While building, they recognize how creating with their hands supports deeper thinking, sustained focus, and the surfacing of unspoken content.

They experience how quickly LEGO creates a shared language and a safe framework for expressing different perspectives—whether in meetings, collaboration, or conflict situations.

The experience also demonstrates how inclusive the method is, balancing participation and giving voice to those who are less verbally dominant. Participants take home not just a “technique,” but an embodied way of working.

Who is the program for?

This program is recommended for leaders and professionals who are open to experiential learning and enjoy experimenting with creative approaches in their daily work. The ideal participant wants to lead more effective meetings, improve collaboration, or look at recurring challenges and conflicts from a fresh perspective.

Those who are curious, reflective, and value practice-oriented learning will feel particularly at ease. The program is especially suited for people who are not necessarily looking for ready-made answers, but want to think, experiment, and learn from their own experiences.
